Description
Some recent construction or repair work inside the Delhi zoo has left some of the debris piled up in these mounds of broken construction, along with some buildings (restrooms and others) with walkways all around. There is greenery everywhere, and the light of the sun causes sunrays to shine right in the middle of the photo.
The Delhi Zoo is a prominent part of the tourist circuit of Delhi, along with being the destination for a large number of children. The zoo occupies a space of 176 acres in Delhi, next to the Purana Qila in central Delhi. The zoo was opened in the year 1959, and was renamed as the National Zoological Park in 1982. The zoo has a total of animals and birds representing a total of 130 species. The zoo has some strict controls and does not allow any food items to be carried inside the zoo, with a security check at the entrance. If you decide to cover the zoo on foot, it can be tiring, although there is a provision of using a battery operated vehicle inside the zoo. Website
