Description
The Jurong Bird park in Singapore has an exhibit that focuses on Flamingos, with a small water body and greenery, and there are a large number of Flamingos all around the water. If you look closely at their legs, they are all tagged with metal bands with the JBP mark on them. The Jurong Bird Park is one of the largest such bird parks in the world, setup in the year 1971. It is the largest such park in terms of the number of birds, and occupies an area of around 50 acres. It is located on the slope of Juron Hill and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. There are a number of shows inside the park that provide people with a chance to get closer to birds (even though they do not get a chance to touch them), and in a exhibit, one can even get a photo taken with colorful birds right next to the person.
