Description
The Singapore Botanic Garden is a famous tourist attraction in Singapore, being a 74 hectare garden. The Garden was first established in 1822, closed in 1829, and then re-started in 1859. The Garden is free for tourists, although the National Orchid Garden inside the premises charges a fee of SGD 5 for entry. Inside the Garden, there is a Ranforest, which allows tourists to travel through a section of the original rainforest of Singapore. Such rainforests are typically not preserved in modern cities, so this section gives a chance for people to see what the rain forest looked like. Further, the National Orchid Garden is very beautiful, with a collection of orchids making it very beautiful.
