Description
A couple of Macaw birds perched on a tree branch in an exhibit in the Jurong Bird Park. The Jurong Bird Park is one of the largest such bird parks in the world, setup in the year 1971. It is the largest such park in terms of the number of birds, and occupies an area of around 50 acres. It is located on the slope of Juron Hill and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Singapore. There are a number of shows inside the park that provide people with a chance to get closer to birds (even though they do not get a chance to touch them), and in a exhibit, one can even get a photo taken with colorful birds right next to the person.
