The great wheel of London Eye, caught from the side, seems to fill the entire picture with its steel structure and many capsules. The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel, located on the banks of the river Thames in London. London Eye has a height of 135 meters with the wheel having a diameter of 120 meters. London Eye is the tallest such ferris wheel in Europe, although there are other such tall Ferris wheel located in other parts of the world such as in Singapore and the Star of Nanchang. It is not the tallest such structure in London, but provides a good observation point.
The London Eye was erected in 1999 and opened to the public in 2000 and is now the most popular tourist destination in London.

Ashish Agarwal works for a software company and has a passion for photography (and keeps on getting amazed at some of the quality of photos that he sees from other people).
