Artist's Description

Jallianwala Bagh is a garden inside the city of Amritsar in North India that is situated right next to the Golden Temple. In 1919, during the fight for Indian independence from the British, a mass of unarmed demonstrators shouting slogans were fired upon by British forces, killing more than 1500 people. After independence, the garden was converted into a memorial for the massacre and is now open for everybody to come and also see evidence of the horrors committed on that day.

Fortunately, he has access to a number of different cameras, so the photos in this collection are from a range of different cameras.
